Hi Eumesmo!

1st: This board like any other BL-board is not 100% safe. If somebody wants to he will find a way to get your IP through a message board. But as long as there are no illegal activities on a board, you will not need to worry about that. Police cannot (as long as they stay sensible) just locate or even arrest you simply because you're posting on a BL board ;)

2nd: Normally you have to give an email provider your real name adress etc. But most of them will never check your datas for real. I for example use GMX (very popular in Germany) with a false name. And as long as you don't do anything illegal it doesn't matter anyway ;)

3rd: I think you're referring to places like public swimming pools etc. As long as you don't do crap, there will usually be no problem.

4th: Never ever use your credit card on such sites! 99% of them will be illegal.

5th: In most cases you should only be sure to trust somebody if you know him long and/or well enough. You'll get to know some people you like and some you don't. In the recent two years I got to know a couple of BLs who are now pretty close friends and others I should have reported to the police.
One should always be careful with personal datas but at some point you'll know if you can trust somebody.
