Let's get to work: which anonymous server?
Submitted by FrancisMusical on 2005-04-4 00:09:22, Monday
Hello gentlemen. After several weeks of loneliness, depression, anxiety, and some anger here and there, what I did last night totally made my week. I babysat for a fifth time. The more I do it, the more I enjoy it. The two kids (boy, 3; girl, 5) absolutely love me. Their mother told me that the boy occasionally pretends to call me on his toy cell-phone! They all love me that much! Of the two kids, the boy is so very affectionate.
As a first, the boy, who is getting big fast, changed into his pajamas in front of me and his sister with no inhibitions whatsoever. Later, he briefly examined his penis in front of us and remarked how big it was getting!!! I was completely shocked, but I didn't make him feel ashamed in any way; it was, after all, just a passing thing. One of the things I want to work toward is allowing children to feel comfortable about their sexuality and bodies. If the mother decides to make him feel guilty should he do it in front of her, so be it; she's his mother.
The entire experience has given me a new boost of positive energy for the week, which has helped me to deal with the dwellings I've been having for the last few weeks; that of my emotional-sexual curiosities and the bitterness I hold toward society's homophobic messages and childhood sexual repression.
I would now like to take action and start working on expressing my case to people through anonymous e-mail. I'm tired of just sitting here typing out my thoughts like a journal. I know it might be a waste, but I want to do something about it, if only for my own peace of mind. To quote Jodie Foster on the Internet Movie Database, "If I fail, at least I will have failed MY way."
I need concrete answers as to which anonymous server is the best, and which will not put me in danger. I will ask the same questions I asked Cody two weeks ago:
If I get an account like SafeMail, that means I can write to whomever I want to my heart's content without any bad repercussions, correct?
Cody mentioned that SafeMail might accept anonymous money orders; does that mean I should not even give my name or address to SafeMail when paying for it? I'd prefer to pay by money order. Should I not include my name and/or return address on the envelope?
Which makes me wonder: how will SafeMail know for whose account I'm paying if you think I should send an anonymous money order (providing they do accept them)? On their 30-day-trial set-up page, your first and last names are required, as well as an additional e-mail address for password reminding (which would be my AOL screen name), but my home address is optional. Please, tell me concretely how I can approach this effectively.
Also, Matthew mentioned HushMail in a separate thread, which is free. Matthew, how good is HushMail and how do the questions above apply to it?
Thank you guys, as always. I feel very good right now.
