Kid Rights

The mass hysteria in the US is totally unfounded. The reason normally given for this heinous act is that a minor isn't mature enough to have sex with an adult. If that is truely the case, then it wouild also be wrong for two 16 year olds or two 12 year olds. Those types of relationships are instead viewed as irresponsible. Too, there are plenty of immature adults that should stop having sex immediately. Rape is rape at any age, but consentual sex is just that, consentual. Find me a teenager that could possibly be "raped". Kids are certainly capable of deciding what feels good, regardless of age. As a point of interest, Joseph, the father of Christ, was near 90 when he married Mary, and Mary was about 12 and 1/2 (you can verify this in the online Catholic enclypedia). Christ had 4 brothers through sex. That makes Joseph a pedophile. Of course the false Christians don't want to hear this.

It is time for both kids and adults to stand up for their rights to decide. It should not be up to the psychotic government to make these decisions. Heaven forbid that the government should use logic in their decisions.
